Terms of Service

These terms apply to the AltaLife RP website, account system, suggestion tracker, development tracker, staff tools, rules pages, and related community features.

1. Using The Site

You may use the site to read public information, sign in with Discord, submit suggestions, participate in discussions, and access staff-only tools when authorized. You agree not to abuse, disrupt, probe, scrape, overload, or bypass protections on the site.

2. Discord Login

The site uses Discord OAuth for sign-in. Discord handles your Discord password; AltaLife RP does not receive or store it. We use Discord account information to identify you, show your profile name/avatar, validate community membership where required, and determine staff access.

3. Community Content

Suggestions, comments, staff responses, and other submissions may be reviewed, edited for moderation, hidden, denied, deleted, or used to guide server and website development. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, private, exploitative, or malicious content.

4. Staff Tools

Staff-only features are limited to authorized staff accounts. Staff users are expected to protect access, avoid sharing private notes, and use management tools only for legitimate AltaLife RP operations.

5. Rules And Policies

Website rules, server rules, staff procedures, and roleplay standards may change over time. Continued use of the site or community services means you accept the current version of the applicable rules.

6. Third-Party Services

The site may rely on Cloudflare for security, caching, DNS, or traffic handling; ServerCheap.com for hosting infrastructure; Discord for OAuth, profile information, guild checks, bot/API features, and direct message notifications; and MongoDB-backed storage for website data.

7. Availability

The site is provided as a community service and may be changed, limited, suspended, or taken offline for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.

8. No Warranty

The site is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free content, permanent availability of submissions, or compatibility with every browser, device, Discord account state, or network.

9. Enforcement

We may restrict access, remove content, revoke staff privileges, or block accounts when necessary to protect the site, community, staff operations, or other users.
